Position: Multi Skilled Operative

As a Multi Skilled Operative with MPS, you’ll be involved in larger jobs such as bathroom and kitchen fittings, as well as smaller reactive repairs and maintenance across our portfolio of properties. You will work from ‘job’ to ‘job’, following your planned route, and handle a wide range of general repairs and maintenance tasks.

We are looking for candidates with extensive previous experience and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Meeting new people and delivering high standards of work and service are key to success in this role.

This role covers areas such as Hampshire and London - South, West, and a bit of the North.

Role Criteria:

• Extensive on-the-job experience in multiple trades such as Carpentry & Joinery, Plastering, Plumbing, and Glazing
• Hold a Full UK Driving License
• Own your tools
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• IT literate, especially for PDA use
• Willing to travel
• Ideally hold a trade qualification, especially if you have limited firsthand experience

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be over 21, have held your license for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points on your license.
