Job summary

Olleco in Liverpool is seeking a Maintenance Technician to enhance asset reliability and drive plant efficiency at our biodiesel, AD and used cooking oil processing site. You will perform reactive and planned maintenance, manage failures, and support RCA reforms while ensuring parts availability and audit readiness.

The role requires strong experience in maintenance/engineering, with electrical/instrumentation and mechanical capabilities, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstratable experience of Engineering/Maintenance/Reliability in chemical, renewable energy, FMCH or oil & gas industry.
• Electrical & instrumentation/mechanical experience with ability to support on mechanical tasks.
• Experience in continuous/process improvement and LEAN manufacturing.
• Ability to read/interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, and P&IDs essential.

Responsibilities

• Improve asset reliability to boost plant reliability and efficiency.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance activities.
• Manage machine and system failures to minimise unplanned downtime.
• Reform RCAs after incidents.
• Ensure spare parts are readily available.
• Maintain clean work areas and ensure audit readiness.

Job Description

• Perform tasks to improve asset reliability to improve the overall plant reliability & efficiency
• Perform Reactive and Planned Maintenance activity
