You’ll be carrying out planned maintenance and repairs across a range of mechanical and electrical systems and helping to keep the site running smoothly and safely. If you’re a hands-on engineer/technician who enjoys variety, teamwork, and getting stuck in, we’d love to hear from you.**What you’ll be doing*** Electrical work – lighting, sockets, and fault-finding including upgrades and small project work* Maintaining air handling equipment (filters, belts, pulleys)* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on plant and building systems* Operating and maintaining steam systems (including high-pressure boilers and fittings)* Maintaining hot and cold water systems, pumps, and chemical dosing systems* Working with BMS (Trend Vision) systems, valves, actuators, and motor controllers* Servicing drainage and effluent systems* Occasionally working on DALI computerised lighting systems**About you**We’re looking for someone who:* Has experience in on-site maintenance (electrical or mechanical bias)* Ideally completed an electrical apprenticeship or holds up-to-date electrical installation regs (mechanical qualifications also considered)* Is confident using a computer or maintenance software (CAFM experience is a plus)* Enjoys taking ownership of work and finding solutions independently* Can adapt when priorities change — flexibility is key here* Works well as part of a supportive team and helps others when needed* Has a good understanding of safe working practices and health & safety**What’s in it for you**This is a permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:15. Working 1 weekend in 4, 3 hours a day) based at our site located in Belton, outside Loughborough.
