PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. in Runcorn is seeking a experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and optimise mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems at the Runcorn Depot.

You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, rapid fault resolution, and the upkeep of depot facilities and automation systems, including coordination with external contractors and delivery of technical projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification.
• Experience in a maintenance department.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems.
• Fault-finding in electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Desirable IOSH or NEBOSH.
• Desirable knowledge: management of a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance.
• Engage and manage external contractors.
• Immediate response to breakdowns with production equipment.
• Assisting and manage delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Runcoun Depot - Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Rivington Road, Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 3DJ

Sunday - Friday 6am to 2pm

Monday - Friday 2pm to 10pm

Monday - Friday 10pm to 6am

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Runcorn Depot. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of maintaining and enhancing our mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Your responsibilities will encompass Planned Preventative Maintenance, swift resolution of system breakdowns, defect repairs, and the overall upkeep and optimization of our depot facilities and automation systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance.
• Engage and manage external contractors.
• Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment in accordance with the production hours.
• Assisting and manage the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for most of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.

Key skills, knowledge, and experience

• Minimum recognised Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification.
• Experience working within a maintenance department.
• Experience working with automated conveyor systems.
• Experience fault finding within a an electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH.
• Desirable knowledge: Management of a technical team
