Job summary

PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician for the Portsmouth Depot. You will own maintenance of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, perform preventative maintenance and quickly resolve equipment faults to keep production running.

The role requires experience with automated conveyors, lifting up to 15kg, and a minimum Level 3 qualification. IOSH/NEBOSH desirable; shift pattern rotates across weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification required.
• Experience in maintenance of automation and conveyor systems.
• Fault finding across electrical, mechanical and pneumatic domains.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of volume picking machinery via scheduled maintenance.
• Engage and manage external contractors.
• Respond to breakdowns with production hours in mind.
• Assist and manage delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

week 1: Monday-Friday 06:30-14:30 week 2: Monday-Friday 14:00 - 22:00

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Portsmouth Depot. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of maintaining and enhancing our mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Your responsibilities will encompass Planned Preventative Maintenance, swift resolution of system breakdowns, defect repairs, and the overall upkeep and optimization of our depot facilities and automation systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance.

• Engage and manage external contractors.

• Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment in accordance with the production hours.

• Assisting and manage the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for most of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.

Key skills, knowledge, and experience

• Minimum recognised Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification.

• Experience working within a maintenance department.

• Experience working with automated conveyor systems.

• Experience fault finding within a an electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

• Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH.

• Desirable knowledge: Management of a technical team
