Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing site in Malvern. This role offers a generous £46,000 salary and shifts spanning mornings, afternoons and nights.

You will identify failure modes, diagnose and repair equipment, carry out preventive maintenance and liaise with day teams to resolve long-term issues. An apprenticeship and NVQ level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) are required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing.
• Completed an apprenticeship as a Maintenance Engineer.
• NVQ level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or City & Guilds/HNC) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Identify failure modes of plant equipment and return to operation safely and quickly.
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
• Liaise with day teams to identify and resolve long-term issues.
• Locate spare parts using the maintenance system and manage stores.
• Carry out preventive maintenance in line with scheduling; support PPMS work.
