Qualifications

• Significant experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within manufacturing.
• Completed an apprenticeship as a Maintenance Engineer.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with PLC systems.
• Good engineering practices and documentation.
• Self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
• Ability to work under pressure and report accurately.

Responsibilities

• Identify failure modes of plant equipment and return to operation safely and promptly.
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
• Liaise with day teams to resolve long-term issues.
• Locate spare parts using the CMMS and manage stores.
• Make recommendations to prevent electrical failures.
• Feed back maintenance work via notifications and schedules.
• Perform preventative maintenance in line with schedule in collaboration with others.
