The role covers planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support, with an electrical or mechanical bias. The position offers £55,000 per annum on a Panama shift pattern and a chance to contribute to reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical or mechanical bias is acceptable.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Undertake electrical or mechanical fault finding, depending on your engineering bias.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and reduce downtime.
• Ensure machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with production and engineering colleagues to minimise disruption.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow relevant health and safety procedures.
