Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting two Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a Bedford-based process plant. The role offers a circa £55,000 salary and a Panama shift pattern, alternating days and nights with weekends off every other week.

You will perform reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery, carrying out electrical and mechanical fault-finding, and support continuous improvement to enhance site reliability and minimise downtime.

A Bedford-based process plant is looking for two multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join its engineering team.

This is a machinery-heavy manufacturing environment, suited to an engineer with strong fault-finding, breakdown and planned maintenance experience.

The role

• Reactive and planned maintenance across production machinery
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding
• Supporting continuous improvement and site reliability
• Working closely with production to minimise downtime

What we're looking for

• Multi-skilled maintenance engineering experience
• Mechanical or electrical bias considered
• Background in manufacturing, processing, packaging, FMCG or another machinery-intensive environment
• Confident working on both breakdowns and preventative maintenance

Package

• Salary: circa £55,000
• Panama shift pattern, rotating days and nights:
  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday
• Every other weekend off
