Job summary

Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd presents a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer role at a state-of-the-art production facility in Preston. You will work on advanced automated manufacturing equipment, performing planned and reactive maintenance and supporting continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, have experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, and demonstrate strong fault-finding, PLC, and instrumentation knowledge.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience within a high-speed manufacturing or process environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of PLCs, motors, sensors, control systems and inverters.
• Experience with instrumentation such as flowmeters, pressure transducers and level probes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Work within a high-performing engineering team at a state-of-the-art facility.
