Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd presents a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer role at a state-of-the-art production facility in Preston. You will work on advanced automated manufacturing equipment, performing planned and reactive maintenance and supporting continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, have experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, and demonstrate strong fault-finding, PLC, and instrumentation knowledge.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
Experience within a high-speed manufacturing or process environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Knowledge of PLCs, motors, sensors, control systems and inverters.
Experience with instrumentation such as flowmeters, pressure transducers and level probes.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Work within a high-performing engineering team at a state-of-the-art facility.
