Synergi Recruitment's client, a leading UK supplier to the dairy, confectionery and plant-based ingredients sector, seeks experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers for a fast-paced food manufacturing environment in Peterborough. You will maintain production efficiency across processing and packaging lines, carrying out PPM and fault diagnosis.

£37 per hour, Outside IR35, minimum 3-month contract with potential extension, and a 4 on/4 off shift pattern covering days and nights.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in maintenance of production equipment in food manufacturing environments.
• Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting and meet safety standards.
• Familiarity with high-speed packaging/processing machinery ideal.
• Willingness to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern across days/nights.

Aufgaben

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently.
• Minimise equipment downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment modifications.
• Assist with project work and engineering improvements where required.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with food manufacturing standards.
• Work across a range of high-speed processing and packaging machinery.
