Job summary
Employment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our growing manufacturing group in the High Peak. You will be responsible for maintaining reliability, efficiency, and safety of production equipment across the site, with occasional travel to the nearby second facility.
The ideal candidate is time-served with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills, experience in manufacturing, and holds an 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (17th
Qualifications
- Time-served maintenance engineer with electrical and mechanical background.
- Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
- Knowledge of motors, drives, pumps and pipework, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (17th Edition will be considered).
Responsibilities
- Respond to equipment and plant breakdowns promptly.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Support continuous improvement to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
- Maintain pumps, pipework, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect machinery and plant to identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Assist with equipment installations and site improvement projects.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures.
