Job summary

Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

Location: Leeds, LS10. Salary around £40,000 DOE. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing site, maintaining production machinery and supporting reliability through planned and reactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing setting.
• Background in manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
• Confident with electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Respond to machine breakdowns and complete reactive repairs.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
• Complete maintenance records and paperwork.
• Work closely with production to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across site.
