Hunter Selection is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a role based in Atherton (Greater Manchester) operating on a 4on4off days and nights pattern. Qualifications

• Time-Served Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Experience.
• Food/FMCG/Packaging Industrial Engineering Backgrounds desired.
• Electrical Qualification needed.
• Motivated to work in a team environment and continue to develop as an engineer.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to train & take on internal training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance work to maximise OEE, reduce downtime and improve machinery performance.
• Communicating effectively with wider engineering team, production and other key stakeholders.
• Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times.
• Ensure the highest H&S standards and safe working practices are carried out.
• Spot opportunities for process improvements and work with team to implement those.
• Maintenance on Mixers, Valves, Reactors and other Mechanical Equipment.
• Improvement Projects.
