Job summary

Avara Foods in Banbury is looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in a secure and progressive environment. This role involves leadership within engineering shifts and ensuring efficient maintenance actions are taken to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience and a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, alongside strong problem-solving and leadership skills. Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Understanding of PLC programming.
• Desirable refrigeration and welding/fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams as a Depute for Engineering Shift Manager.
• Perform maintenance according to schedule and recommend improvements.
• Mentor Level 1-3 Maintenance Engineers and apprentices.
