Job summary

MorePeople is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a site in Erith, Kent. The role requires a hands-on engineer with a 60/40 mechanical bias to maintain and fault-find on production equipment across a 4 on/4 off days and nights pattern.

You'll perform PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and support improvements while ensuring safety standards and teamwork within the engineering and operations groups.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical background with a 60/40 mechanical bias preferred.
• Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on site machinery.
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
