Job summary

Kinetic plc in Bromborough, England, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site on a 4 on 4 off rotation (2 nights/2 days). The role is permanent with a salary of £52,000 per annum.

You will be electrically biased, with solid fault-finding capabilities and a strong manufacturing background. Day‑to‑day duties include electrical maintenance, PPMs, fault diagnostics, and supporting project work while upholding strict HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias with solid manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

• Fixing machine faults during shifts.

• Planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and site services.
• Ensure breakdowns are dealt with promptly while maintaining PPM schedules.

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Bromborough area, are looking for a Maintenance Engineer on shifts, working 4 on 4 off (2 nights/2 days). The salary for the role is £52,000 p.a. They are looking for an electrically biased engineer with a solid manufacturing background and strong fault finding capabilities.

• Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.
• Carrying out preventative electrical maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
• Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
• Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery and site services.
• Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst ensuring that all PPM schedules are maintained.
• Support project development.
• Follow and encourage stringent HSE and standard company practices.
• Practice continuous improvement and pro‑activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions.
