What You Will Do

1. Perform electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs across the site to ensure smooth operations.
2. Conduct health and safety checks and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with legislation.
3. Collaborate with the production team to schedule and carry out planned maintenance and repairs.
4. Maintain and improve site utility services, identifying energy-saving opportunities and implementing continuous improvements.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve processing problems, ensuring quality standards are met and recommending process improvements where necessary.
6. Support training initiatives and assist operatives to enhance their skills and knowledge.

What You Will Bring

1. Apprentice-trained expertise in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
2. Proven experience in fault-finding and repairing gearboxes, drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
3. A strong background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to work as part of a team.
4. Proficiency in understanding technical drawings and working with PLC and SCADA systems.
5. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
