Job description

Recruit4staff is proud to represent their client, a leading food manufacturing company, in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility in Market Drayton.

Benefits:

• £5,000 signing-on bonus after successful completion of a probationary period.
• £54,000 per annum
• Shift pattern: 7:00 - 7:00, 4 days on, 4 days off (days and nights)
• Permanent position
• Annual 5% bonus

• Overtime at x1.5 rate
• Upskilling opportunities for single-skilled candidates

Role Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose faults and test, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
2. Utilize PMS to support prioritization and problem-solving (RCFA).
3. Contact OEMs and suppliers for technical support and expedite parts when not available on-site.
4. Analyze trends in recurring faults and breakdowns to reduce equipment downtime.
5. Support departmental 5S programs for workshops and stores.
6. Record all engineering activities using the Electronic Maintenance Management System.
7. Ensure all activities comply with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Recognized Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship – ESSENTIAL
• Experience in the FMCG industry – ESSENTIAL
• Must be Multi-Skilled – ESSENTIAL
• Food/FMCG background – Desirable
• OSHAH/Nebosh qualification – Desirable
