Job summary

Synergi Recruitment’s client is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a global food manufacturing leader. You’ll work with highly automated production equipment, troubleshoot electrical and PLC faults, and contribute to reliability improvements on a 24/7 operation.

You’ll gain exposure to SAP, SCADA and PLC-controlled systems, with ongoing training and development to strengthen your electrical and automation skills in a fast-paced engineering-led environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent in Engineering.
• 3+ years' maintenance engineering experience.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Planned and reactive maintenance experience.
• Fault-finding and breakdown repair expertise.
• Experience working with automated machinery.
• CMMS experience.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
• Ability to work rotating days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated production lines.
• Fault-finding and diagnostic troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Preventative maintenance planning and execution.
• Respond rapidly to breakdowns and implement root-cause fixes.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve reliability.

What We're Looking For

Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

You'll ideally have:

• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• PLC fault-finding experience
• Reactive maintenance experienceAbility to independently diagnose and resolve breakdowns
• Experience within automated manufacturing environments

Essential Requirements
