Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing site in the North East. You will handle electrical and mechanical maintenance, diagnose breakdowns quickly and perform planned preventative maintenance to keep production moving.

The role requires hands-on experience in an industrial factory, with a qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering and familiarity with PLCs. You will work days and nights on a site that values teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Hands-on maintenance including planned, reactive and breakdown tasks.
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is essential.

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing site. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
