Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for its near Biggleswade facility in Bedfordshire. The role offers a days-based schedule, Mon-Fri 07:30-16:00, with a salary of £45,000-£50,000 plus flexitime, training and benefits.

You will be the most senior member of the maintenance team, remaining hands-on while leading engineers and projects, and overseeing planned, reactive and preventive maintenance, plus machinery installation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a multiskilled maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Looking to progress into a senior/management role while staying hands-on.
• Electrical and Mechanical engineering knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned, reactive and preventive maintenance on plant machinery.
• Lead and manage engineers and projects, coordinating hours and resources.
• Install new machinery and support maintenance planning.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability to meet project deadlines.
• Stay hands-on while moving toward a management role.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

£45,000 - £50,000 + Flexitime + Training + Benefits

Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:00.

Near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire - Commutable from Bedford, Sandy, St Neots, Royston & Hitchin

Are you a multiskilled maintenance engineer with experience within a manufacturing environment looking to progress into a senior role? Do you want a days based role within a leading group that are known for their retention, first class training and development?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join the team, working out of their state of the art facility near Biggleswade. The successful applicant will be responsible working within the plant on a range of commercial and plant machinery providing planned, reactive and preventive maintenance. On offer will be an excellent training programme to enable you to enhance your management skills and become a very valuable member of the business. You will ensure that all machinery is operating at maximum efficiency enabling all projects to be completed on time, meeting industry and customer standards. This is a 'hands on' management role where you will remain on the tools as well as leading new machinery installation projects, maintenance planning and organising technicians & engineers hours.

This is a great opportunity to join an established business who are part of a multisite group. Due to another year of expansion and investment, the company are looking to make multiple hires during the remainder of the year and will be looking to promote within when future roles open up. If successful, you will be the most senior member within the team and will be moving into a management role in the future.
