Job Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our repairs and maintenance team in Hertfordshire. This role is based at Hertford Hospital and involves supervisory duties alongside active trade work.

About Us

Rydon Maintenance Ltd provides facilities management and property maintenance services across healthcare and social housing sectors, with extensive experience in healthcare environments and over 300 buildings maintained for 20 Trusts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned maintenance including emergency light testing, fire alarm checks, and PPM tasks.
• Perform reactive electrical repairs such as fault-finding, lighting, power issues, and socket replacements.
• Assist with other trades and general building fabric repairs.
• Supervise subcontractors, manage permits to work, and conduct inductions.
• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota and support health & safety audits.
• Manage spares and consumables stock.
