Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The role is offered as a permanent full-time position working permanent late shift, Monday to Friday.

Benefits: Excellent benefits package including a 6% non-contractual bonus, 25 days leave + BH, health care, life assurance, and more.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 1.50 pm to 10 pm (finishing at 8.30 pm on Friday).

(There may be requirements to work overtime and nights with prior notice.)

Location: Dartford

As part of the maintenance team, the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will carry out routine and preventative maintenance duties, including fault finding, repairs on plant machinery/equipment, and building services.

Skills and qualifications:

• Qualified, e.g., C&G or similar (Level III) qualification or above, ideally time served
• Previous experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment such as food, pharma, or similar (FMCG)
• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Knowledge of Lean / Quick Kaizens
• Fault finding, planned and preventative maintenance skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving and innovative skills
• Flexibility to work around team requirements
• Physically fit, with no fears of heights or confined spaces

Desirable skills/experience:

• Lean qualification/training
• Machining experience – milling/turning
• TIG welding
• GMP experience
• AutoCAD skills
