Job Title - Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Rate - £60,000

Shift - Perm Nights

Industry - FMCG/Food

Location: Essex

Synergi is recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturer whose products are consumed worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that supports your development and growth as a Maintenance Engineer. You will work alongside experienced Maintenance Engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed production machinery.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to plant stoppages.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Understand processes, products, and quality procedures.
• Oversee planned maintenance activities.
• Diagnose faults and identify machinery problems.
• Implement solutions to machinery issues.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Recognized engineering qualification and apprenticeship.
• Food safety awareness (desirable).
• Experience with industrial 3-phase motors, control systems, and PLCs.
• Knowledge of pneumatic controls and industrial bearing systems.
