CV Technical Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. The role offers a competitive salary (£50,000-£60,000) and overtime opportunities, with day shifts and a Monday-Friday pattern.

You will maintain and improve the reliability of production equipment, carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, minimise downtime, and support production efficiency in a safe, compliant environment.

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a varied, hands‑on role with a competitive salary and additional overtime opportunities.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of production equipment and machinery, ensuring the smooth running of site operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Minimising machinery downtime and supporting production efficiency.
• Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.

Working Hours & Salary

Salary: £50,000-£60,000, depending on experience.

Working pattern: Monday-Friday.

Monday-Thursday: 11-hour shifts.

Friday: Typically finishing at midday.

Total hours: Approximately 48 hours per week.

Overtime: Paid at 1.25x for hours worked above 48 per week.
