Job summary

CV Technical LTD is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on keeping production machinery and site equipment running efficiently through planned and reactive maintenance.

You will perform PPMs, diagnose faults, and implement repairs or improvements while ensuring safety and high standards. A days-based, Monday–Friday role offers stability within an established manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Familiar with planned and reactive maintenance (PPM).
• Able to work independently and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment.
• Respond to and resolve breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carry out repairs, modifications and improvements to machinery.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable, days-based role with a well-established business.

The Role

You will be responsible for keeping production machinery and site equipment running efficiently, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment
• Responding to and resolving breakdowns quickly and effectively
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
• Carrying out repairs, modifications and improvements to machinery
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
• Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a hands‑on engineer with a strong background in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

You should have:

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer / Multi‑Skilled Engineer
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills
• Experience working with industrial production machinery
• A good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
• The ability to work independently and prioritise workload
• Relevant electrical/mechanical qualifications are advantageous
