Job Description:

Elevation is working with a leading precision manufacturing company in Bradford seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer due to increased workload.

Location: Bradford

Hours: Bespoke 3-week, 12-hour rolling rota (no weekend work)

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance on CNC lathes, CNC grinding machines, semi-automated assembly lines, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics
• Performing PPMs and troubleshooting breakdowns daily
• Managing 2-3 projects annually
• Ordering parts/spares as needed
• Electrical wiring, panel building, testing, inspection, fault finding
• Working on PLCs (mainly S7) and robots, fault diagnosis and repair
• Completing routine servicing
• Rebuilding CNC machinery when necessary
• Assisting with machine installations
• Training operators and apprentices
• Planning work schedules in the manager's absence
• Collaborating with other departments for continuous improvement

Candidate Requirements:

• Level 3 or higher in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds, Apprentice trained)
• HNC and HND qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• Minimum 3 years recent experience in electrical maintenance
• Experience with CNC machines and fault finding with PLCs
• Focus on continuous improvement
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance
• IT literacy
• Ideally 18th edition wiring regulations
• Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and in a team
