Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturer in Oxfordshire. You'll perform reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed production machinery, working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure maximum efficiency.

The role requires experience with 3 phase motors, PLC systems, pneumatic controls and bearing systems, with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification is required or highly desirable.
• An engineering apprenticeship with a formal qualification is preferred.
• Food safety awareness is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience of industrial 3 phase motors and control systems with PLC interaction is essential.
• Experience with pneumatic control and bearing systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed production machinery.
• Respond quickly to unplanned plant stoppages.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to maximise efficiency.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
• Oversee planned maintenance activities and ensure adherence to procedures.

Shift – 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)

Synergi are recruiting for a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of the leading FMCG Manufacturers whose product is consumed across the world. This is the chance to join a company who will help you develop and grow as a Maintenance Engineer. You will be working alongside other Maintenance Engineers with a vast amount of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities as a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Conducting Reactive and planned Maintenance on high-speed production machinery.
• Responding quickly and efficiently to any unscheduled plant stoppages.
• Working closely within the engineering & production team to ensure maximum
  efficiency.
• Possess a good level of understanding to the process, products and all quality procedures.
• Responsible for overseeing Planned Maintenance
• Diagnosing faults
• Identifying problems on machinery and implementing solutions.

The Ideal background of a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Recognized Engineering Qualification
• A recognised engineering apprenticeship, with a formal qualification.
• Food Safety awareness (desirable)
• Experience of industrial 3 phase motor and control systems and their interaction with modern PLC systems.
