Job summary

Adept Resourcing has an exciting opening for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in the UK. The role focuses on electrical fault finding, maintenance and improvement of industrial systems, with some mechanical tasks involved.

Expect 4 on 4 off shifts, including days and nights, with 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am rotations. The ideal candidate will have a time-served electrical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and strong fault-finding skills on industrial electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance, Engineering Maintenance, or a related engineering discipline.
• Electrical qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Strong practical electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working with industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and circuit drawings.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation - desirable.
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors and control systems- could be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding on production machinery and control systems.
• Maintenance of electrical equipment including motors, drives, sensors and control panels.
• Supporting planned preventative maintenance activities.
• Diagnosing breakdowns and restoring equipment safely and efficiently.
• Working with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
• Supporting electrical upgrades and improvement projects.
• Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Liaising with specialist contractors and suppliers when required.

An excellent opportunity for a motivated Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for electrical fault finding, maintenance, and improvement of industrial systems. There will also be some mechanical maintenance involved with this role.

Hours: 4 on 4 off. Rotational days and nights, 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am
