Job summary

Shillito Group is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced plant environment. You will perform fault-finding on production machinery and PLC-controlled systems, while supporting upgrades and new equipment installation.

The role includes 4 on 4 off days/nights (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am) with ongoing training and a comprehensive benefits package. Strong electrical background and fault-finding skills are essential, with experience in

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance, Engineering Maintenance, or a related discipline.
• Electrical qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Strong practical electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and circuit drawings.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation is desirable.
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors and control systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding on production machinery and control systems.
• Maintenance of electrical equipment including motors, drives, sensors and control panels.
• Support planned preventative maintenance activities.
• Diagnose breakdowns and restore equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
• Support electrical upgrades and improvement projects.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Liaise with specialist contractors and suppliers when required.

Description:
An excellent opportunity for a motivated Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for electrical fault finding, maintenance, and improvement of industrial systems. There will also be some mechanical maintenance involved with this role.

Hours: 4 on 4 off. Rotational days and nights, 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and circuit drawings
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation - desirable
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors and control systems- could be an advantage
