Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited in Blackpool is seeking a technically minded Machine Operator / Multi-Skilled Technician to operate and optimise specialist machinery. Training is provided and you will transition to a permanent role after the initial period.

Starting at £13.00 per hour during training, rising to £13.00–£19.00 per hour after training, with shift allowances for afternoons and nights. Training lasts about 6 weeks on day shifts before moving to permanent shifts.

Qualifications

• Technically minded with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience operating, setting up, or troubleshooting machinery.
• Ability to think logically and solve problems under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and optimise specialist stick pack machinery.
• Troubleshoot faults and diagnose production issues.
• Make machine adjustments to maximise efficiency and quality.
• Support changeovers and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to minimise downtime.
