Overview

MCS Group are proud to be working with a leading food and drinks manufacturer. We are seeking a Multiskilled Line Technician to support production efficiency, ensure food safety and quality, and assist with continuous improvement projects.

Role: Multiskilled Line Technician

Location: Ballymena

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Base pay range

This range is provided by MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Key Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and production teams with breakdowns, changeovers, and problem-solving.
• Carry out fault finding, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Assist with training and development of colleagues.
• Perform routine maintenance and support major projects.

About You

• Time-served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Working towards NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent.
• Recent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
