Job summary

The Recruitment Junction is seeking a Multi-Skilled Labourer for ongoing site work across Newcastle and surrounding areas. You will support experienced joiners on construction and refurbishment projects.

No CSCS required; the role offers regular hours, paid at National Minimum Wage up to £15–£16 per hour depending on experience, and a chance to develop trades skills within a supportive team.

Introduction

We are working with a local construction company who are looking for a reliable Multi-Skilled Labourer to join their growing team, supporting experienced joiners on construction and refurbishment projects across the North East.

Objectives

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on construction, joinery and trades experience, develop your skills as a labourer and become part of a hardworking, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Multi-Skilled Labourer, you will:

• Assist joiners with day-to-day site work.
• Install insulation and assist with flooring.
• Collect and deliver materials.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and organised.
• Carry out general labouring duties as required.

Requirements - What We're Looking For

The ideal Multi-Skilled Labourer will:

• Have previous labouring or construction experience (preferred but not essential).
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Be physically fit and willing to learn.
• Work well as part of a team.

No CSCS card or formal qualifications are required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude who is ready to work.

Working Hours

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

Paid for a 39-hour working week.
