Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking a qualified Multi Skilled Joiner to join the Portsmouth & Gosport team. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours) covers 8am–7pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

A valid UK driving licence and a basic DBS check are required; you must live in the Portsmouth area to facilitate timely access. You will carry out joinery and various multi-trade tasks, including basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, groundwork, and damp/mould treatment, while

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) in joinery or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience in social housing or customer-focused services is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is essential and a basic DBS check is required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery and various multi-trade tasks (plumbing, tiling, plastering, flooring).
• Deliver high-quality repairs to residents with care and accuracy.
• Record information and maintain documentation of works completed.
• Work methodically to targets and procedures within health and safety guidelines.
• participate in rota for out-of-hours calls as required.
