Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Joiner in Basingstoke. The role offers £25.70 per hour for 39 hours/week with a temp-to-perm pathway. An on-call rota pays £525 for the week on duty, with van and fuel card provided.

You will primarily perform carpentry while supporting multi-trade repairs, managing your workload, and delivering high-quality residents' service. UK driving licence and social housing exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/ City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Carpentry or Joinery.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong joinery skills plus multi-trade ability.
• Experience in a customer-focused, target-driven environment.
• Confident working independently and solving problems on the tools.
• Good health & safety awareness.
• Social housing experience desirable.
• Own power tools required.

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a busy social housing maintenance team covering Havant & Gosporton a Temp to Perm Basis

The Role

Carpentry will be your primary trade, backed up by multi-trade repair skills to help deliver first-time fixes for residents. You'll work independently, manage your own workload, keep accurate job records, and maintain your van, tools,all while delivering great customer service.

There's also the option to join the on-call, out-of-hours rota, paid at £525 for the week you're on call (full details discussed at interview).
