Job summary

Irwell Valley Homes in Manchester is recruiting for a professional multi-skilled joinery operative to deliver a high standard of joinery and related trades in residents' homes and vacancies. The role is permanent, full-time (39 hours per week) with agile working arrangements.

A core trade in joinery is required, NVQ qualifications, and a current driving licence along with IT systems experience. You will assess needs, plan tasks, maintain tools and comply with health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Joinery/Carpentry (Essential) or NVQ3.
• Experience in multi-skilled joinery in customers’ homes.
• Experience across domestic trades and safe working practices.
• Full valid driving licence and IT systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery and multi-skilled work including tiling, patch plastering and minor plumbing in homes and vacant properties.
• Assess, prioritise and complete tasks across domestic trades from start to finish.
• Identify repairs or safeguarding concerns and maintain tools and equipment safely.
