Job summary

A leading Housing Contractor is seeking a Multi-trade Joiner for a temporary to permanent position in Blackpool. Responsibilities include plumbing, carpentry repairs, and basic plastering in social housing settings. Ideal candidates will possess relevant NVQ qualifications and experience in a similar role, alongside a CSCS card.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a multi-trade Plumber within the social housing sector is preferred.
• Must hold a CSCS Card and a valid UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out 1st & 2nd fix plumbing tasks.
• Repairing and renewing joists, stairs, and walls.
• Working on tenanted properties requiring repairs.

As the successful candidate, you will have experience working in a similar role, ideally within social housing settings.

Key Duties Include:

• Carrying out 1st & 2nd fix plumbing

• Repair/ renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and Gor sheet flooring

• Working on tenanted properties

• Repair/ renew doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boardsand ducting panelling

• Basic patch plastering

• Basic tiling and painting tasks

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• NVQLevel 2/3in Joinery/Plumbing (or equivalent)

• experience working as a multi-trade Plumber within the social housing sector

• CSCS Card

• Full UK Driving Licence
