Job summary

NHBC’s Apprenticeship Training Hub in Lichfield is seeking a Hub Technician – Multi skilled to keep the hub running smoothly and support apprentices developing practical skills.

You will prepare training spaces, assist in demonstrations, lead hands-on sessions and help manage materials, safety, and stock. Travel may be required depending on business needs; a Level 2 trade qualification and a full driving licence are essential. A 6% bonus applies to a £34k–£38k salary.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification (or higher) in a related trade.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience mentoring or training others (desirable).
• Solid experience in housebuilding or construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain training areas with materials and tools.
• Assist in practical demonstrations and support apprentices.
• Independently lead hands-on training when senior trainers teach.
• Build and maintain example structures for learners.
• Ensure health and safety of all equipment and areas.

Level 2 in related trade
