Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd in Bridlington is seeking a Semi-skilled Groundworker/Labourer to join our team on residential oil spill projects. The role involves environmental restoration, safety compliance, and working on pollution response assignments for the Insurance Industry.

The candidate will support site operations, assist senior staff, and help maintain quality and safety systems across projects.

Qualifications

Experience in a multi-skilled construction role such as hand digging, groundwork, drainage, and concreting.
CSCS certification is essential.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.
DBS check and pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening will be carried out.

Responsibilities

Carry out site works following safety protocols, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.
Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks.
Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes.
Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.
