Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd is seeking a Semi-Skilled Groundworker/Labourer to join our team in Yeovil. You will support site works on residential oil spill projects and help with environmental restoration and safety.

The role requires practical construction experience, CSCS, a UK driving licence, and willingness to travel. DBS check and drugs screening are part of pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled construction role (hand digging, groundwork, drainage, concreting).
• CSCS certification is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site works following safety protocols and policies.
• Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with tasks.
• Support ISO9001 and ISO45001 processes.
• Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.
