Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd in Bridlington is seeking a semi-skilled groundworker/labourer to join our team on residential oil spill projects. You will carry out site works to restore environments, follow safety protocols, and support a multidisciplinary team.

The role is permanent and full-time with travel when required; a full UK driving licence is essential. DBS and pre-employment screening may apply, and you will work under ISO9001 and ISO45001 frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-skilled construction work (groundwork, drainage, concreting).
• Digger/dumper operation preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home if required.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

We are currently seeking aSemi-Skilled Groundworker/Labourerto join our team in Bridlington. This role involves working on residential oil spill projects, ensuring environmental restoration and safety.

What You’ll Do:

• Carry out site works following safety protocols, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.
• Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks.
• Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes.
• Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a multi-skilled construction role, including hand digging, groundwork, laying drainage, concreting, etc.
• Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening.
