Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd in Darwen, UK is seeking a semi-skilled Groundworker/Labourer to join our team on residential oil spill projects. You will support environmental restoration and safety while contributing to pollution response services for the insurance sector.

Responsibilities include site works following safety protocols, assisting senior technicians, and supporting ISO9001 and ISO45001 processes.

Qualifications

Experience in a multi-skilled construction role, including hand digging, groundwork, laying drainage, concreting, etc.
Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (preferred but not essential).
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.

Responsibilities

Carry out site works following safety protocols, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.
Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks.
Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health Safety Management System processes.
Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.
