Job summary

SWFT Clinical Services Ltd is recruiting for a role in Cafe Lomas at Stratford Hospital. You will prepare and sell food and drinks for patients, visitors and staff, delivering a high-quality catering service while keeping the area clean and safe.

The position is 30 hours per week, with duties that may include patient feeding and domestic cleaning tasks. A discretionary annual bonus and a Company pension scheme are part of the package along with other staff benefits.

• Prepare and sell food and beverages for patients, visitors and staff in the Cafe Lomas retail area.
• Maintain a high quality catering service while ensuring a clean and safe environment in line with the site specification.
• Potential involvement in patient feeding and domestic cleaning duties as required.

Job description

A position has become available working in our Cafe Lomas within Stratford Hospital, with the possible need to work on our ward doing patient feeding and helping with domestic cleaning duties.

The successful applicant will help prepare and sell food and drinks for patients, visitors and staff. They will need to deliver a high-quality catering service , maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with the specification.

This role is 30 hours, to be discussed at the interview.

Main duties of the job

Cafe Lomas is a healthy living, community-focused food and drink provider situated in Building One Stratford Hospital.

The post holder will prepare and sell food and beverage items for patients, visitors and staff in our retail area of Cafe Lomas.

To provide a high-quality catering service both in the Cafe and patient feeding and domestic service, maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with the specification.

SWFT Clinical Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of the South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT). The company provides a number of services such as outpatient pharmacy facilities at Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, George Eliot, University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire and St Cross (Rugby) hospitals; estates and facilities management at Warwick, Stratford upon Avon and Ellen Badger hospitals, Acorn House and Lillington Health Hub; private patient service and consultancy services to NHS Trusts.

Subject to the Company and individual's performance, an annual discretionary bonus will be awarded.
