Job summary

Premier Foods in Worksop is seeking a experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join the engineering team at our site. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, support production, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, a time-served apprenticeship, and knowledge of PLC/SCADA/HMI systems. Attractive rewards package accompanies a stable permanent contract.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Time-served engineering apprenticeship.
• IOSH Working Safely qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of manufacturing equipment.
• Fault find, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
• Support operations to maximise equipment utilisation and minimise downtime.
• Carry out assigned and self-directed engineering tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance machine performance and reliability.
• Support and optimise automated machinery including PLC/SCADA/HMI systems.
• Complete risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
