Job summary

Concept Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer for Keighley & Grassington sites. The role offers £21.26 per hour for 38 hours per week. You will maintain and improve plant, complete PPM tasks, diagnose faults and install equipment as needed.

To succeed you should have an electrical apprenticeship or NVQ level 3, PLC experience, CMMS familiarity and strong problem‑solving skills in FMCG manufacturing. Driving licence and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Proven multi-skilled capability with strong electrical knowledge and PLC experience.
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing or process environments.
• Familiar with CMMS and modern manufacturing techniques.
• Driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Complete PPM tasks and improve maintenance practices.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults promptly.
• Maintain day-to-day plant, assets and services.
• Ensure work complies with food safety and H&S standards.
• Install and commission new equipment as required.

Multi Skilled Engineer

£21.26 per hour (£53,064.96) 38 Hours a week

Locations: Keighley & Grassington (Across both sites)

Skills required

• Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Multi-skilled with strong electrical knowledge
• Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC electrical engineering, BTEC level 3 in electrical/electronic engineering)
• IEE qualification with 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations
• Working knowledge of PLC’s, fault‑finding, repair and programming skills are a must
• Strong diagnostic / trouble‑shooting experience gained in a FMCG manufacturing or process environment
• Strong knowledge & experience of manufacturing electro/mechanical automated equipment & processes including pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation‑controlled systems.
• 5yrs manufacturing, packaging and processing experiences. Food industry experience would be a bonus.
• Knowledge & experience with facilities plant, Boilers (steam), refrigeration an advantage
• Familiar with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Experience of modern manufacturing techniques such as 5S, LEAN and TPM would be ideal.
• A good understanding of HACCP principles
• Driving licence and own transport.
• Ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to communicate engineering matters across all departments when necessary
