Job description

As part of our growing Engineering family, we are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer OR Fabric Engineer to provide a building fabric maintenance and repairs service. The role sits within our facility support service and covers a diverse range of clients, industries and sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building fabric maintenance and repairs service, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating, and patch repairs.
• Keep clients updated on developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs and other service updates.
• Ensure a high level of customer service and maintain good verbal and written communication with clients.
• Work with IT systems to record tasks, updates and other required documentation.
• Physically fit to handle manual handling duties, work at heights and in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Background in facilities management, a trade scheme or relevant experienced service role.
• Basic electrical and/or plumbing skills as required for fabric repairs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
