Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team in Greater London. You will perform Electrical Maintenance to Plant, Equipment and Building Services within a production environment, identifying risks and improving the preventative maintenance program.

Responsibilities include fault finding, updating drawings, managing spares, and writing risk assessments. You will work with three-phase systems up to 440V and use CAFM on mobile devices to plan and complete

Qualifications

• Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship.
• Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical competences to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 (17th Edition).
• Mechanical competences to City & Guilds Mechanical.
• Good multi skilled ability.
• Experience working on 3 phase motors, drives and inverters.
• Hydraulic / Pneumatic experience.
• Ability to fault find.
• PLC diagnostics / repair competencies.
• NVQ Level 2 Electrical or Mechanical.
• Ability to supervise contractors.
• Able to write Risk and Method Statements.
• Able to understand and write Permits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through equipment on site.
• Update drawings and identify critical spares.
• Improve performance of machinery and preventative maintenance.
• Operate new equipment and technologies to maintain production environment.
• Fault finding on all types of machinery.
• Support others in Health and Safety.
• Write and follow Risk Assessments; review issues.
• Complete documentation per rules and legislation.
• Work on Three Phase Systems up to 440V.
• Work on Motors, Gearboxes, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical systems.
• Use CAFM Maintenance System on mobile devices for tasks.
• Plan daily work via emailing/calendars; liaise with Site Services.
• Be responsible for department and deputise the Shift Leader.
• Overtime as required, including nights/weekends.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.
