Job summary

Warburtons in Newburn is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at the newly rebuilt Gluten Free facility. You will maintain and improve equipment, perform fault finding, and apply root-cause analysis to stop issues recurring.

You will work with Production, Safety and Hygiene teams to keep lines running safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates will have a recognised engineering qualification (apprenticeship/HNC/BTEC or equivalent), plus multi-skilled electrical/mechanical experience

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Multi-skilled electrical and mechanical experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative maintenance across automated equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Use data and root cause analysis for long-term solutions.
• Support continuous improvement across the site.
• Collaborate with Production, Safety and Hygiene teams.
• Share engineering ideas with the wider team.
