Drnewitt is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join its expanding food manufacturing engineering team. The role focuses on providing maintenance support to production operations, ensuring equipment reliability and rapid response to breakdowns while upholding safety, quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will be multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical disciplines, hold SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and demonstrate strong communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and system faults, ensuring safety is the priority.
• Diagnose faults, service, maintain, and repair production equipment and systems.
• Monitor and oversee external contractors performing maintenance work.
• Complete accurate end-of-shift, time usage, and defect reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, performance and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety, hygiene, quality and company procedures.
